Join me in the fight against cancer!
THANK YOU to everyone who donated to my walk last year - it was an experience that cannot be put into words! I am so excited to walk again this year! October seems so far off, but it is never too soon to start. "This is truly the greatest distance you can go in the fight against breast cancer. 60 inspirational miles of laughter and tears, three heroic days of celebration and determination. When you join the ranks of the 3-Day walkers, you are becoming part of something much bigger than a simple stroll down a stretch of road. You are part of the movement that is putting an end to breast cancer. It is a badge of honor that you can wear for the rest of your life."
Last year I walked for Debbie Epstein, who lost her very long fight against Breast Cancer in February of 2007. This year I am so proud to walk for my friend Annie Haney's mother, Anne Gleason. Mrs. Gleason has been fighting colon cancer for the past year and has just recently won her fight!! While Susan G. Komen does raise money for breast cancer, Anne fought just as hard to beat her own cancer, and I think she deserves this just as much as anyone else! Everyone deserves a lifetime, and we walk to give everyone this chance!
