Walking...

I love walking, especially when it's for a good cause.

My walk is dedicated to my children, hoping that a cure can be found for the genetic mutation they inherited from their father...before they can pass it along to any children they may have some day.

Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

New Shoes!
I bought two new pairs of shoes, both exactly the same...for walking!

They're labeled as 'trail running' shoes, but are so exceptionally comfortable to wear when walking, I'm very happy that the store had two pairs in my size.

Now I get to wear them out! Yay!
