Help me in the fight against Breast Cancer
Do you know someone affected by breast cancer? Or have you yourself struggled with the battle? Or do you just want to do something to help in the fight? Well, let me help. Through your support and donations I will "walk for boobs" in this years Atlanta Breast Cancer 3 Day.
I am walking in honor of my aunt and grandmother who have both battled breast cancer. My grandmother passed August 20, 2007 after battling for over 10 years. My aunt is a survivor. Just think of how treatment has progressed from just those two generations. The research, the medications, the doctors have all improved drastically for the better. Just imagine, having a world that is breast cancer free could be quite possible for "our kids" generation if we keep this fight up!! And that is what the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day does-ALL PROCEEDS-go to finding a cure!
The event is held in 13 cities. Atlanta will be my second city. I will do every one of them until we find a cure!
My goal for 2008 is $2200. Please support me in my personal journey in the Breast Cancer 3 Day!
