Join me in the fight against breast cancer
Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
I made a commitment this year to support the Breast Cancer 3 Day Benifiting Susan G Komen For the cure this year, to support My sister-in-Law Jennine who did the walk in Seattle this year and cannot wait to do it again. Well I have decided if I am going to talk the talk, I should Walk the Walk! So i am thrilled, and a little nervous, to announe Jennine, her friend Carrie and I will be doing the walk In Boston also! As some of you may already know, for the past 4 years, I have been running a small internet business selling bras. So let's face it, Boobs are my business! When my Sister-in-Law Jennine did the walk in 2007 I supported her, but I came to realize, I really should do more, and after hearing from so many of my customers with thier stories of suffering with and surviving breast cancer, thier personal stories and losses, I was really motivated to do more. So in 2008 I am doing the walk with Jennine in Boston, and am committed to raising even more money! .25 cents of every item I sell is going towards our fundraising goals. A quarter may not seem like a lot, but a lot of quarters adds up to a lot! I am confident that we will meet and hopefully exceed our goals, both financially and physically!
