Join me in the fight against breast cancer
Last year I had the amazing experience of walking in the 3 day in place of a friend who could not make it due to health reasons. I didn't know anything about the organization or the event but was drawn to it because it felt like a good time in my life to do something enormous that would impact the lives of many in a powerful way...I had no idea what I'd gotten myself into but I did know it was calling me for a reason.
Wow! I was so overwhelmed by the experience that I would have turned around the very next week and done it again despite the potential of losing a few toenails from the 60 miles I'd just finished. It's hard to describe the "brotherhood" of people who selflessly support this event by giving up their weekend to cheer us on, feed us and thank us for making a difference.
Please support me as I take an amazing journey once again in the fight against breast cancer! Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
